Alternative book cover
"Almond" (Song Won Pyong) / 아몬드 (손원평 저)
This project was made as part of a competition from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in St. Petersburg.
To participate in the competition, it was necessary:
- read one of the presented books;
- draw / create an illustration in the cover format that will best convey the plot and content of the work;
- take a photo of the work creation process (photo of unfinished work, the creation process);
- write an impression of the book.

Этот проект был сделан в рамках конкурса от Генерального Консульства Республики Кореи.
Для участия в конкурсе необходимо было:
- прочитать одну из представленных книг;
- нарисовать / создать иллюстрацию в формате обложки, которая наиболее хорошо сможет передать сюжет и содержание произведения;
- сделать фото процесса создания работы (фото незаконченной работы, процесс создания);
- написать впечатление о книге.
I chose the book "Almonds" (Song Won Pyung)
Мной была выбрана книга «Миндаль» (Сон Вон Пхен) / 아몬드 (손원평 저)
As a background, I arranged the seeds of almond fruits, as well as the flowers of the almond tree.
На фоне я расположила косточки плодов миндаля, а также цветы миндального дерева.
This project was selected as one of the best in the competition and, like other best works, was presented at an exhibition in the Karl Bulla photo gallery in St. Petersburg.
Данная работа была выбрана одной из лучших на конкурсе и, как и другие лучшие работы, была представлена на выставке в фотогалерее Карла Буллы в Санкт-Петербурге.
